Founder’s Story
- When I was 15 I suffered a serious sexual trauma. I Moved out of my family’s home at 16. For years I was stuck in the medical systems, mental health and legal system. There was no support. No one who took the time to hear me talk. Just endless pills, pharmaceuticals, separation and people talking at me. No one listened. I was homeless, in and out of hospital looking death in the eyes. Then one Ceremony changed my life forever. I want to offer that to everyone who wants a chance. -Luke

- Individuals either go to out-patient therapy and receive medication or are in an in-patient hospitalization stay.
- The gap between this care is VAST and Sadaya is filling the middle ground between the two.

- Medications can act as a band aid, helping one to heal during an acutely traumatic experience, but long-term can cause more damage with side effects and emotional suppression.
